Montar Pen Drive en Knoppix

cree un directory usb y trate de montarlo y me dice:

mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/usb -t vfat
mount: /dev/sda1 already mounted or /mnt/usb busy
mount: according to mtab, /dev/sda1 is mounted on /boot

La verdad que no entiendo mucho de este tema... si alguin me podria decir que estoy haciendo mal.

creo que mi problema es no saber donde toma el Pen Drive...
porque lo que me dijeron que tengo que hacer es editar el /etc/fstab y agregarle una linea...
por ejemplo:  /dev/sda1       /mnt/pen        auto    defaults,user,noauto    0       0

donde sda1 seria donde me toma el pen drive... el problema es que no puede ser sda1 porque ya lo tengo ocupado con otra cosa.

Por lo que veo te ha detectado un sistema de archivos reiserfs en sda1, asi prueba con esto:

Por curiosidad, ¿que más tienes conectado a los puertos usb?

Nada  :(  en ninguno de los 8 nunca se conecto nada. solo he intentado con el pen drive.
