GIMP no se abre, falta X11

"Put the OS X install DVD in the drive and open its window. Then scroll down and double-click the "Optional Installs" package. Follow the instructions and when the package selection screen appears, select Applications->X11 and install it. That's it."

Resumiendo, que metas el DVD del Sistema....  le des a Optional Installs y busca Applications-->X11 y lo instalas......
