Microsoft ha liberado para algunos de sus betatesters una versión beta del esperado Service Pack 2 para Windows XP.

Además de corregir una serie de errores menores, el SP2 para Windows dotará de mayor seguridad a nuestras máquinas, dotándolas de un cortafuegos personal, mejor protección contra gusanos informáticos, nuevas versiones de Internet Explorer y Outlook.

pues me lo he leido y parece que es bastante la mejora si, aunque falta hacia, lo que no se es si se podra instalar a voleo, habria que mirar que premisas hay que cumplir, no se si sera solo para distros en ingles

aunque supongo que se podra meter sin problemas

Lo único que no me hace gracia es lo del firewall, pero bueno todo es cuestión de desactivarlo y ya está. Por otro lado si instalo esta versión, cuando salga la buena no creo que haya problemas al cambiarla no? Probaremos a ver que tal va.

Microsoft acaba de liberar la Technical Preview del esperado Service Pack 2 para Windows XP, del que os ofrecemos un hipervínculo desde donde descargarlo.

El citado Service Pack es una preview técnica, por lo que Microsoft no ofrece soporte sobre la misma, siendo única y exclusivamente para propósitos de análisis y prueba, no siendo recomendable su instalación en entornos de producción.

Lamentablemente hasta ahora tan solo en inglés.
