Tema: como cambiar totem por vlc en synaptic?

He hecho lo siguiente:
1º he editado el source. list como dice en el enlace. Lo modifico y me queda asi:

2º Actualizo el apt
3º intento instalar el vlc:

---:~$ sudo apt-get install vlc
Leyendo lista de paquetes... Hecho
Creando árbol de dependencias... Hecho
E: No se pudo encontrar el paquete vlc


En algo fallé  :?  
Desde el modo consola tampoco he podido...

Al abrir otra consola para guardar lso cambios cerraba la que estaba editando y no me daba cuenta que se cerraba el archivo je je ahora el que tengo ea el de arriba, el resto igual...

Vale ahora en el modo consola me sale esto:

Ya esta... en modo consola, actualicé y alli estaba... ya veo las pelis como en el Windows.... me parece que tengo algo duplicado porque me sale el aviso al iniciar el Synaptic y he instalado dos Vlc (me salen dos para Gnome y para Gtk+) pero eso para otro día....
