Spybot Search & Destroy...No completa nunca el análisis... (SOLUCIONADO)

Pues al parecer NO hay nada raro, como podreis ver en el mensaje siguiente:

Since the Detections Update from July 25, 2005, Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.4 has been detecting Security Risks (renamed to "Windows Security Center" on July 30) associated with Microsoft Security Center Registry changes. This is neither a false positive nor a bug. It is just an information.
Spybot-S&D only wants to bring to your attention that "someone" disabled one or more notifications in the Windows Security Center, e.g. the notifications that your virus protection is not active or not up-to-date. If you changed the settings yourself you can safely tell Spybot-S&D to exclude those detections from further scans.
In order to do so please right-click each in turn, then click "exclude this detection from future scans". That way, should any other part of security center settings change, Spybot-S&D will still detect those.
The same is true if you have another security solution installed (like McAfee Security Center or Norton Internet Security). These programs do also disable the Windows Security Center in order to take care of things themselves.
The reason why the changes are flagged by Spybot-S&D is that there are also malware programs that disable the notifications so the user doesn't take note of his security tools not being effective. Some more information is also available in our forum:

Esto del Centro de Seguridad de Windows es lo único que sale, (lo cual NO resuelve nada en cuanto al mal funcionamiento del programa)
así que sigo en las mismas..., además en alguna ocasión que reinicio el pc me sale un aviso diciendo que el Tea Timer NO responde, por lo que creo que ni el residente en memoria está cumpliendo sus funciones.

Lo que NO entiendo es porqué logró hacer un análisis ejecutando el Update.exe (que dicho sea de paso, intenté hacerlo nuevamente desde ahí y nuevamente se detuvo a medio hacerlo).  Esto ya es "EXPEDIENTE X".  Continuaré con la investigación...

A unas malas muy malas el programa podría ser incompatible con cualquier otro elemento de software que tengas en el PC .... pero eso es algo difícil de saber  :pardiez:

Pues parece que ya voy encaminada hacia la solución de este tema, al menos ya he conseguido hacer los análisis completos.

Aquí os pongo el detalle:

When I try to update my SpyBot I don't get the one from January 27th which is the one I think I need. When I try to run SpyBot it stops running and in the progress line it stops at 6690/34681 coolwwwsearch. It stays there and won't go any further. I have tried to update it several times and it never goes past the December, 2005 updates. What do I do about this? What I don't understand though is that I have ran my pc-cillin scans and a couple of on-line scans and they say my computer is clean. I even downloaded the CWShredder and it said it removed the CWS.Msconfig but then a sign pops up saying: resident denied the change of MSConfig (category System Startup global entry) based on your black list. I don't know what my black list is! I think I need help.

Based on the symptom of hanging at 6690/34681 coolwwwsearch and the fact that your Dell Dimension E510 supports HyperThreading Technology (Intel® Pentium® 4 Processors with HT Technology);

I'm going to recommend you try the following as written by md usa spybot fan:

Open Spybot, then leave it alone
Open Task Manager, and go to the Processes tab
Right-click on SpybotSD.exe, and choose "Set Affinity..."

Go back to the already-open Spybot, and run a scan.
Hopefully Spybot will complete without hanging or losing responsiveness.

Seguí las mismas instrucciones y me funcionó, salvo que mi SO es XP Home Edition y la primera vez que desmarqué la casilla de "CPU 1", en la ventana del Administrador de Tareas-Procesos-botón derecho del mouse sobre SpybotSD-Establecer Afinidad, avanzó mas el análisis pero nuevamente se detuvo. Así que me fuí de nuevo al Administrador de Tareas y a pesar de haber desmarcado la casilla de "CPU 1", estaba nuevamente marcada sin yo haberla tocado (¿?) cosa que NO entiendo, por lo que le di a Ctrl+Alt+Supr y finalicé la tarea del SpybotSD.

Probé nuevamente desde el principio y esta vez SI logró completar el análisis (suele tardar unos 3 minutos y pico en hacerlo), el análisis salió limpio. Lo hice una segunda vez (desmarcando nuevamente la casilla de "CPU 1" por supuesto) y también lo hizo completo.

Ahora que, si bien hace el análisis de esta forma, NO creo que sea lo "normal", pienso que es un remedio pero NO "la cura" total. Supongo que el/los creadores de SpybotSD han tomado nota de esta anomalía y quizás en la próxima versión corrijan esto, o saquen alguna actualización que lo corrija, porque la verdad que es un "coñazo" cada vez que haces un análisis, estar "metiendo mano" en otros lados, eso está bien para los usuarios avanzados o los expertos informáticos, NO para los usuarios de "a pie"...en fin..., algo se ha conseguido.

Por otro lado, yo no se si hice bien en seguir estas instrucciones, NO creo que eso le afecte al SO, porque mi procesador tb. es un
Intel® Pentium® 4 Processors.

Procuro dar toda clase de explicaciones, para que los usuarios de este foro, (sobre todo los novatos como yo), entiendan todos y cada uno de los pasos que doy, por si tuvieran un problema similar.

De todas formas agradeceré vuestros comentarios al respecto.

¿Ya probaste pasar el Spybot S&D después de deshabilitar el Norton (yo desinstalaría el Norton, limpiaría el registro y haría las pruebas)?
