Samba y permisos.

Hola a todos,

Una preguntita. Tengo un Ubunto como servidor de archivos con Samba para ser accedido desde distintas máquinas Windows. Todo bien. Peeero, hay un pequeño problema. Durante cierto tiempo todo funciona correctamente, los usuarios pueden crear carpetas, etc, pero cuando pasa cierto tiempo, ya  no se puede, acceso denegado.

Alguien sabe que se me escapa ?

Acabo de reiniciar el servidor y ahora si se puede crear carpetas y borrarlas, pero solo en algunos directorios.

Supongo que debe ser algo de aplicación incorrecta de permisos ?.... no sé, porque en algunos sitos donde puedo crear carpetas y cuando pasa un determinado tiempo luego no se puede.

Gracias a los dos por contestar. Us cuento un poco más.

El caso es que el servudior lo tengo para que accedan desde windows hacia el recurso ubicado en Linux. En linux he creado los mismo usuarios y contraseñas que en Windows. Cuando los usuarios acceden desde windows los pdf no los pueden ver (sale en blanco), no se puede modificar nada, etc. curiosamebnte, y esto igual o sirve para el diagnóstiuco,
cuando miro los permisos en windows, me salen un tal nobody y nogroup. Desde Windows no puedo aplicar ningún tipo de permiso. En fin, yo creo que algo tengo que decirle al windows para que "entienda". Otra cosa no se me ocurre.

En linux he creado los mismo usuarios y contraseñas que en Windows.

¿has usado el programa de samba para crear los usuarios o los has creado en el sistema? Para dar de alta un nuevo usuario en samba tienes que usar el programa smbpasswd.

yo empezaría haciendo una copia de seguridad de la configuración de samba y poniendo el acceso para todos a ver que tal va... e ir configurando sobre la marcha e ir viendo donde casca exactamente

esa config que no se ve!!!! jejeje, un saludo!!!

Hola a todos, soy el "bueno de alfon" como dice D. Dabo ;-))

Gracias a todos por contestar.

Vamos a ver. NO he creado las cuentas de usuario con smbpasswd. Lo hice con adduser. Supongo que este debe ser el gran error.
Una vez creada las cuentas usé sudo system-config-samba para los permisos, accesos a carpetas, etc.

Otra cosita que he notado es que, visto que era imposible trabajar contra el servidor de ficheros linux, pase toda la información, de momento, a un Windows Server, resulta que todos los nombres e archivos que contienen acento se han convertido en cuadraditos, (solo la parte de la palabra involucrada en el acento).

Voy a volcar el archivo smb.conf, un momento..... a ver donde esta esooo.... aquí:

en principio si que puedes crear así los usuarios y los pass

habrá que mirar con tranquilidad el archivo de configuración...
