Tema: El Explorer se cierra súbitamente al abrir pestañas.

Hola a todos.

Tengo un Core 2 Duo con Windows XP actualizado hasta el dia de hoy. Mi antivirus es el Avast, y habitualmente uso además el AVG Antispyware, el A2 y el Spybot. Mi versión del Explorer es la 7 (es decir, la última).

La cuestión es que desde hace 5 días estoy teniendo problemas con el Explorer, porque se me cierra súbitamente cuando intento clicar algún enlace para que se abra en una ventana nueva; pero sobre todo, se cierra en el momento en que intento abrir algo en una nueva pestaña (esto pasa 9 de cada 10 veces).

He probado a pasar todos los programas antivirus antes mencionados, y efectivamente han detectado algún troyano. Y aunque teoricamente los ha eliminado, ésto me sigue pasando, por lo que no sé si verdaderamente un virus o troyano es el motivo de este fallo o no. También he probado a volver a instalar el Explorer, por si por lo que fuera el mío estaba corrompido. Pero tampoco ha servido de nada.

Hay un detalle del que me di cuenta ayer, y que quizás pueda ser mucho más determinante que cualquiera de los anteriores y es que cuando accedí al centro de seguridad de Windows, tanto el firewall como las actualizaciones automáticas estaban deshabilitadas (cuando yo siempre los tengo activados). Y no solo eso, sino que además, algo no me permite habilitarlas, por lo que ya ha sido cuando me he mosqueado del todo.

Por favor, a ver si alguién puede echarme un cable, porque la verdad es ke ya no sé qué hacer. Muchisimas gracias por todo. Un saludo!

Haz copia de seguridad del registro con el ERUNT (clic aquí); deshabilita el Restaurar el sistema (clic aquí); reinicia en Modo seguro, ejecuta el HijackThis, marca la casilla a la izquierda de las siguientes entradas y dale al botón [Fix checked]:

Bueno, he estado probando a navegar un rato y la verdad es que parece que ya no hay el más mínimo rastro del problema. Las pestañas se abren correctamente, y el explorer no se cierra de repente. Así que no puedo hacer otra cosa mas que darte las gracias por tu inestimable ayuda. Por cierto, lo mejor es que vuelva a poner en su sitio todas las opciones que he modificado al mostrar carpetas ocultas y evitar la restauración del sistema, ¿verdad?.

Aunque sigo sin saber por qué no puedo activar las actualizaciones automáticas ni el firewall de windows (cabe aclarar que mi win es legal). ¿Se puede hacer algo con esto??
